The standard cost of lessons start from £34.00 per hour
Hour and half lessons £48.00
Two Hour lessons £60.00
Once you have a provisional driving license you are ready to book your driving lessons with PLS Diving School. You have to be able to read a number plate at 20.5 metres in order to drive, so ensure you wear glasses or contact lenses during lessons if needed.
About The Lessons
Driving lessons take place in air-conditioned comfort using the latest model Volkswagen Polo MANUAL GEARBOX with dual controls that allow the instructor to make any corrections that may be necessary during the first few lessons, while the student gets used to handling the controls. The controls are well laid out and simple to use. All new students are familiarised with the location and function of the controls before starting the car and setting off under the guidance of the driving instructor. The car is very easy to handle and students quickly get used to it.
PLS Driving tailors every course of lessons to suit the individual needs of each student. This gives each student the most effective preparation and allows them to learn at their own pace. Students don’t need to be absolute beginners though as all experience levels are welcomed whether they have had lessons elsewhere and only need a short course of lessons to be ready for their test, or are retaking their test and just need to practice one or two things beforehand.
It is quite normal for new drivers to feel anxious or nervous about learning to drive, and the instructor is very sympathetic to this. He ensures that each student has a learning environment in which they can gain and practice their new skills, and that nurtures their growing confidence as each skill improves.
Students will be picked up and dropped off at locations that they can arrange with the driving instructor.
